Geometric Sunflowers
The Geometric Sunflowers project was created in the fall of 2024. The project challenged me to think outside the box of design and utilize different tools to my advantage such as clipping masks and the gradient tool. Combining nature with a geometric, digital landscape was a hard task to complete as I had to think about how to make something so organic work in a medium that is known for rigid edges and shapes. However, the project was fulfilling to complete and pull off.
Beatles Inspired Surrealism Self Portrait
Created towards the end of 2024 this project is one of my personal favorites. For the project I had to combine surrealist aspects with the music of The Beatles specifically music from their albums “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and “Magical Mystery Tour.” This project made me think outside the box on how to interpret music in an artistic way while still being within the guidelines of what is expected of me.
Fall 2025 Scholarship Form
Created in the fall of 2025 for my work-study position at Mercyhurst University. The Sister Angelica Cummings’ Art Scholarship is an annual scholarship Mercyhurst University has been giving out for 51 years. This project tested me as I had to continually redesign and restart to create something appealing, but in the end I’m very proud of the final product.
